Aspirin lowers mortality in patients with type 2 diabetes and heart failure

Findings of a study to be presented at the upcoming American College of Cardiology (ACC) 2018 Scientific Sessions in Washington DC suggest that older patients with type 2 diabetes and heart failure are at a lower risk of all-cause mortality. But, they were more prone to develop a nonfatal myocardial infarction (MI) or stroke.
